Job Description

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineers (Principle Engineer)
Experience: 11+ Yrs.

Education required: Engineering with industry specialization
Responsibilities and tasks ( Not limited)
• System engineering – instrumentation of oil and gas process systems
• Input to technical specifications and vendor follow-up activities
• Review of vendor documentation and project documentation
• Interface against vendor equipment, other contractors and platform control systems
• IS calculations for Ex (i) equipment
• Establish I/O (input/output) register for loop drawings
• Mechanical completion (MC) and factory acceptance tests ( FAT) activities
• Input to commissioning procedures
• Input and follow-up of data registers
• Fire and gas detection systems
• Field instrumentation for heat ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), process and control systems
• Telecom, public address systems (PA) and closed circuit TV (CCTV)
• Drilling control and data acquisition (DCDA)
• Coordinate input to PLC systems (Siemens)
• Concept and modification studies
• Preparation of requisitions and specifications for procurement of field instruments, pressure-temperature, flow equipment including vendor follow-up.
• Preparation of internal documentation
• Offshore surveys
• FAT

Qualifications & personal attributes

Educational Qualifications

Should have at least a Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
Should have at least 11 years of experience in the design and construction of oil and gas platforms and facilities.
